Sub: Report on fire accident in our doll manufacturing company unit.
I write the report with reference to your name REF:AA/265/20. Which is dated on 05/10/10. Which is asking to give fire accident held in the doll manufacturing company unit of Barbie International Pvt.Ltd.
The following detailed report on the fire accident are as follows:
1. Due to short circuit , there was a fire accident around 3pm on 05/10/10.
2. It seems enough precautions and preventive had not been taken to provide for safety in such circumstances.
3. The fire spread rapidly burning and damaging, several packaging unit which was kept for sending purposes are all burnt.
4. A person was on a sustained condition and series injuries, he was taken to hospital and his condition is critical.
5. All materials in the factory are damaged.
The following recommendations are to be taken for averting similar accident in future:
· Electrical short circuit which causes sparks and flashes.
· Temporary wiring and over loading equipment should be avoided.
· Proper earthen should be maintained and installed.
· Electrical installation should be periodically checked.
· Smoking should be strictly prohibited.
· Half burnt live match sticks.
All practical measures should be taken to prevent outbreak of fire and its spread both internally and externally and I hope in future there won’t be any accident will occur.
